No. The goal is much broader than increasing giving. The CSN Stewardship Ministry Framework helps churches make biblical stewardship and financial discipleship an intentional part of spiritual formation. We believe generosity is a natural outcome of faithful stewardship, but success is measured by more than financial results. We want to see people grow in faithfulness, freedom, generosity, and their relationship with Jesus.

No. This is not a capital campaign or fundraising initiative. The Framework is designed to help churches develop a long-term culture of stewardship and generosity by integrating financial discipleship into the church's ongoing life and ministry.

No. And that's intentional. Every church has a different culture, ministry structure, congregation, and capacity. Rather than imposing a one-size-fits-all program, CSN helps your leadership develop a stewardship strategy and discipleship pathway that fits your church, drawing on proven principles, resources, and ministry practices.

The process begins with leadership vision, readiness, and commitment, followed by four phases:

1. Discovery & Assessment: Understand your church's current stewardship culture, strengths, challenges, and opportunities.
2. Strategy & Discipleship Pathway: Develop a customized strategy, financial discipleship pathway, and implementation roadmap.
3. Launch Preparation: Prepare the people, systems, resources, communication, and infrastructure needed for implementation.
4. Launch & Cultivate: Implement the strategy while receiving ongoing coaching and guidance to cultivate a lasting culture of stewardship and generosity.

The CSN Stewardship Ministry Framework is designed as a 12-month engagement, guiding your church from Discovery & Assessment through strategy development, launch preparation, and implementation.

At the conclusion of the initial 12 months, churches may choose to continue working with CSN for up to an additional 12 months of coaching and strategic support as they strengthen, refine, and further integrate stewardship into the life and culture of the church.

Our goal is to help your church build the internal leadership, systems, and rhythms needed to sustain a culture of stewardship and generosity for the long term.

Senior leadership involvement is essential. Before beginning, we ask churches to have senior leadership buy-in and identify an executive sponsor and a stewardship champion who can help lead the process internally. Other staff and ministry leaders will participate at different stages as the strategy is developed and implemented.

That's a great place to start. The goal isn't to replace what's working. During Discovery & Assessment, we'll identify existing strengths and determine how current ministries and resources can become part of a more intentional and integrated stewardship strategy. In many cases, churches already have valuable pieces in place but lack a clear pathway connecting them.

Yes. CSN will help your leadership identify and prioritize ministry concepts, tools, and resources appropriate for your church. These may include preaching and teaching, financial classes, coaching, generosity experiences, communication strategies, stewardship resources, and other discipleship opportunities. The goal is to select what best supports your strategy—not simply add more programs.

CSN doesn't simply provide a strategy and leave you to implement it alone. We partner with your leadership through preparation and implementation, providing ongoing coaching and strategic guidance to help evaluate progress, address challenges, and refine the strategy as your stewardship culture develops.

At the same time, our goal is to build internal ownership, not dependence on CSN. The ministry should increasingly be led and sustained by your church's own leaders, staff, and volunteers.

Before beginning the formal process, CSN meets with church leadership to discuss vision, theological alignment, expectations, and readiness. Churches should be prepared to treat stewardship as a discipleship priority, engage leadership and staff in the process, honestly assess their current culture, and commit the time and leadership necessary for meaningful change.

If we're not confident the church is ready, we'll say so. The goal isn't simply to begin an engagement; it's to establish the conditions necessary for the process to be fruitful.
